The exclusive 6 pcs. Maybach car transport train named “Maybach – classics of the future” in original packaging contains:
Diesel locomotive BR 220 087-1 in special livery “Maybach Manufactur”. This is a fictional livery as real DB locomotives were painted with red and grey livery color from 1956 as the V 200s were entering the service as well as the characteristic ‘V’ on the nose.
This Maybach Car transport train is pulled by a Marklin Digital version of the Maybach designed V200 Locomotive. This Digital High Efficiency Propulsion Locomotive is decorated in Maybach Ivory and the Maybach Logo as supplied by DaimlerChrysler and is an actual representation of the Brand. This is a model of the locomotive as it ran in the 50s and 60s with a Maybach engine type MD650 and hydraulic transmission (type Mekydro K104U) and has thereby earned a firm place in Maybach company history. History and the present are connected in the “Maybach Auto Transport Train – Future Classics” because the V200 pulled container cars carrying authentic representations of the Maybach “Glass”-Containers specially conceived to transport the Luxury Cars to their exciting New York Premiere on the Queen Elizabeth II.
